Showering is considered to be a great way to de-stress, according to new research from shower market-leaders, Mira.
Out of a survey of over 3000 people, more than 60% claimed that taking a shower helps them to relax, whilst 80% describe the post-showering feeling as “really good.”
The survey also found that 70% of the respondents would rather have a shower than a bath, with the majority of people showering more than seven times a week, making us a very clean nation! Work, relationships and outside interests take their toll on personal hygiene. Not surprising then that showers are most popular. Quick, convenient and hygienic, they are ideal for people who don’t have time to indulge in a long bath.
More than 70% of people shower in the morning, with the average shower lasting 5-10 minutes. Just long enough for hair-washing (70% of the respondents wash their hair in the shower). Surprisingly though, only 59% prefer shower gel to soap.
For the ultimate showering experience, Mira produce a range of stylish shower enclosures and accessories. In particular, the Mira Extreme Thermostatic shower with four spray modes is the perfect way to refresh and relax your body and mind. Choose from Morning Start for the perfect wake-up call, Champagne Froth for bubbling indulgence, a Massage mode for sensual relief or the environmentally friendly Eco option. The Extreme Thermostatic retails at £435.
