A new survey launched today by leading shower manufacturer, Mira, reveals that people from Scotland and the Borders lead the rest of the country in cleanliness!
The survey revealed that some 85% of people from the Highlands, 71% of people from Scotland and 67% from Borders take a shower every day! This sets them leagues apart from the rest of the country, especially East Anglia and the South West of England of whom less than 50% claim to shower every day.
The survey, which Mira carried out to identify the nation’s showering habits revealed some surprising facts about how often we shower. The notion that most people take a ‘shower a day’ was shattered by startling revelations that a mere 48% of people from East Anglia, and 50% from the South West of the UK actually take a shower every day.
The survey also asked people how long they spend in the shower, and found that the majority of Scots spend 5-10 minutes in the shower.
