A new survey launched today by leading shower manufacturer, Mira, has revealed some surprising facts about the country’s showering habits and highlights that the majority of people from the North East take a shower every day.
However, whilst 60% of people from the North East take a shower every day, there remain some 40% who shower less frequently. What’s more some 3% of people from the North East shower only once a week!
Leading the cleanliness stakes was Scotland of whom some 85% shower daily. East Anglia and people from the South West of the country transpired to be a shower shy lot, with only 48% taking a daily shower.
The survey also asked people how long they spend in the shower, and found that the majority of people from the North East spend 5-10 minutes in the shower!
