Mira Showers has launched the world’s safest bath shower mixer to help reduce the risk of scalding in the bathroom.
The new Mira Excel Thermostatic Bath Shower mixer uses state-of-the-art technology to regulate water and surface tap temperature to reduce the risk of scalding for all members of the family.
Using unique Mira-patented technology, the mixer has two maximum temperature limits, one for the bath and one for the shower. The shower maximum temperature limit is set 5 degrees cooler than the bath limit, as bath water will naturally cool, whereas shower spray hits the body more directly so retains more of its original heat.
The stylish chrome finish also features an innovative thermal sleeve that reduces the surface temperature of the product so no one will get scalded by brushing up against hot metal. The thermal sleeve reduces the external temperature by up to 7 degrees.
Easy-to-use controls allow simple switching between bath and shower modes and the product is suitable for all hot water systems, and can be fitted easily and cheaply.
