With more than 2,500 children requiring hospital treatment for scalds each year, the need to regulate the temperature of hot water in the home is obvious.
Mary Creagh, MP for Wakefield, has highlighted this with her Private Members’ Bill in the House of Commons, which calls for the installation of thermostatic mixing valves in all new homes.
