Anyone living in a hard water area knows only too well the problems that limescale can cause. From chalky white marks to huge flakes, the gradual build up not only looks ugly but can also decrease water flow, reduce performance and even damage appliances – making for a less than satisfactory showering experience.
To combat these issues, suffered by more than 60 percent of the population, Mira Showers has launched the stylish Everclear handset, specifically designed for use in hard water areas.
The unique design of the handset means it has an automatic self-clean feature, so when showering stops the spray plate retracts, pushing self-clean pins through the nozzles and forcing out any built up limescale. Any stored up water is automatically drained from the showerhead, preventing it from causing additional limescale build up.
The retractable spray plate can also be pressed by hand, allowing the pins to protrude further, removing any persistent residual scale from the holes and leaving a handset that provides a comfortable, all over body spray.
Available in both handset and built-in rigid head versions, the Everclear comes in either a white or chrome finish and is suitable for all mixer and pumped showers.
Prices start from £28.20 RRP for the white version or £34.80 RRP for the chrome finish. Built in models cost £55.23 RRP for the white versions and £62.28 RRP for the chrome finish.
