Mira Showers is helping families to reduce the risk of scalding in the bathroom with its safest bath shower mixer on the market - Mira Excel BSM (Bath Shower Mixer). The Mira Excel Thermostatic BSM uses state-of-the-art technology to regulate water and surface temperature, thus reducing the risk of scalding.
Using unique Mira-patented technology, the mixer has two maximum temperature limits, one for the bath and one for the shower. The shower maximum temperature is set to 5 ° C cooler than the bath limit, as the latter will naturally cool, whereas shower spray hits the body more directly so retains more of its original heat.
The stylish chrome finish also features an innovative thermal sleeve that reduces the surface temperature of the BSM, allowing the body to be touch-safe. The thermal sleeve reduces the external temperature by up to 7 ° C.

With four spray patterns, the shower benefits from an automatic shutdown providing extra protection against scalding if other water supply fails.

Prices start from around £555 for the Mira Excel BSM. The surface-mounted Mira Excel thermostatic shower is around £508.00 and from around £528.00 for the built-in thermostatic shower, both complete with Mira Logic variable height fittings.
An alternative built in shower without the variable height option is priced from £483.00.
