Combis are now the best selling type of gas boiler and installed in more than 3 million homes, so that the launch by Mira of its Combiflow mixer valve gives your customers a further shower choice designed to match their hot water system.
Combiflow is the first pressure balancing valve to also give full flow control. The Combiflow maintains constant water temperatures by responding to changes in inlet pressure. The single lever control is simple, giving full control over flow and water temperature.
The new valve is available in both exposed and built-in variants and the quality of the chrome finish and the solid brass body are up to the robust standard expected of Mira. The ceramic disc technology ensures excellent flow control, smooth operation and a maintenance free life. Mira Combiflow operates from 1.0 bar
The Linesse shower fittings give easy height adjustment, a separate soap dish and a choice of four spray patterns: Start, Soothe, Force and Eco. The showerhead has anti-scale rubber nozzles and finger grips for ease of use.
Combiflow joins the two other mixers in the Mira range which are designed to make the most of a high pressure water supply. The Mira Combiforce 415 valve is an entry level, pressure balanced shower specifically designed for fully modulating combi boilers. The Mira Fino models offer a variation in style with a compact and contemporary design. It gives the customer separate flow and thermostatic temperature control. All three models can be used with high water pressure supplies.
Liz Hazeldene, Mira’s marketing manager, sees a huge market for the Combiflow and the other valves. “ With new combi sales running at nearly a million boilers per year and rising, as well as the millions already installed, there is a great opportunity to sell showers off the back of a new combi installation.
