Through 2003 we saw the demand for shower enclosures increasing and I am glad to say the signs for 2004 look just as encouraging as older householders appreciate the benefits of a separate shower. What is driving this increase in the market? Part of it is from the new housing market, where the separate shower room is becoming a 'must have' in virtually all new homes. However the greater part of the trend comes from customers improving their present home, or their new one when they move. Underlying this is the ability of more people to use the equity in their homes to fund improvements with a new bath or shower room seen, rightly, as a good investment as well as a practical improvement.
What we have also seen is that customers have become more selective in their choice. They are taking more time to study the options and to treat their shower purchase very much as they do for kitchens; looking as much to style and fashion as to the practical aspects.
So contractors and retailers have to ensure they can present customers with a range of shower enclosures that match their stylistic needs as well as fitting the space. The Mira range of enclosures and trays delivers just this.
Where a shower has to be shoe-horned into a small space, perhaps in a downstairs toilet or added to an existing bathroom, Vista Bifolds have proved the answer. Vista Bifolds mean that the doors do not take up space in front of the shower yet their smooth gliding action and magnetic closures give a reassuring luxury feel to the enclosures. They come with matching side panels if required and fit to 760, 800 and 900mm tray sizes. For larger showers the Vista pivot and sliding door models also meet the need save space in front of the shower. Importantly all models are suitable for power shower operation as improved plumbing systems give greater water flow and pressure.
Where the shower room is being designed from scratch and the customer calls for an innovative solution with an open spacious feel, the Vista Quadrant and Pentangle ranges provide the answer. By the use of matching handles and end caps a design style is maintained. Long trouble free operation is assured by the 6mm safety glass doors which unclip for easy cleaning and by magnetic catches. The Quadrant range can be used in larger showers by the additional offset enclosure panel; either left or right handed. Again the Vista Quadrant is suitable for power shower operation.
Matching perfectly to all of the Mira enclosure range is its tray range. All have integral upstands to ensure a sound leak-free join to the tiling. Mira trays come in six shape options and in eight colourways.
