Training

When it comes to looking after properties in the social housing sector, a quick and efficient service is of the essence. Thankfully we have set training to help when it comes to installing and maintaining our showers.

BEST PRACTICE

The aim of Toolbox Training is simple and clear: to promote good shower installation practice. To meet this objective, Mira set up workshops around the UK, offering free sessions to housing associations, local authorities and their contractors – all in their own depots and at times to suit them.

GETTING HANDS-ON

Of course, the best way to pass on practical advice is by taking a hands-on approach. Using lots of real-life examples, demo products and photographs, Mira trainers mock up common problems in community housing bathrooms. Problems such as plumbing materials clogging filters and affecting flow rates. Or when showers are affected by kinks in the hose – a typical issue when used by carers for assisted showering.

ADDED VALUE

Within the community housing sector this kind of training has real value. A sound working knowledge of product installation, maintenance and fault diagnosis boosts productivity. And understanding a shower inside out has implications for council
budgets too.

The technical knowledge that comes from Mira’s free Toolbox Training allows housing associations and local authorities to take care of problems quickly and with minimal disruption – helping to keep maintenance costs low and reassuring tenants.

BOOK A TOOLBOX TRAINING SESSION

Mira Toolbox Training is offered free to customers and can be delivered at your own premises. Tailored courses offer expertise and support on how to approach bathroom installations and maintenance – even the most seasoned fitter will pick up helpful tips and practical advice!
