Digital showers - Daily cleaning

Many household cleaners contain abrasives and chemical substances, and should not be used for cleaning plated or plastic fittings. These finishes should be cleaned with a mild washing up detergent or soap solution, and then wiped dry using a soft cloth. Poor shower performance can be avoided by regular cleaning of the showerhead. To avoid limescale, use your thumb or a soft cloth to wipe any limescale from the soft rubber nozzles and the front face of the showerhead.

Electric/power showers - Daily cleaning

Warning! There are no user serviceable components beneath the cover of the appliance. Only a competent tradesperson should remove the cover.

Mixer showers - Daily cleaning

The chrome plated parts should be cleaned using a mild washing up detergent or soap solution, rinsed and then wiped dry with a soft cloth.

Showerheads - Daily cleaning

Shower trays - Daily cleaning

It is advised that the shower tray is cleaned immediately after use, to remove any insoluble products. Hot soapy water should be used and then the tray should be wiped. Cleaners of gritty or abrasive nature should never be used.

The acrylic surface of Mira shower trays has good resistance properties to acids but should not come into contact with alkalis or organic solvents, such as caustic soda, dry cleaning agents and paint strippers.

Regularly clean the waste to ensure trouble free flow through the trap and to prevent flooding.

Lubricants

Silicone based lubricants must only be used on the rubber seals.
Caution! Oil based or other lubricant types may cause rapid deterioration of seals.
