Please see below our recommendations for resolving the drip from your tap. If the below does not help in resolving your problem, please call our Customer Services Team for advice.
Is this a new or recent installation?
Contact your installer to check that the water pressure to the tap is not excessive. Water hammer (where the installation pipework sometimes knocks when operating outlets) may occur if this is the case.
The maximum pressure should not exceed 5 bar maintained/10 bar static.
For the Expert: If the water pressure exceeds 5 bar maintained/10 bar static, a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) may need to be installed as close to and after the property's incoming cold mains stop tap.
Is this an existing installation?
Please ensure the water pressure to the tap is not excessive. The maximum pressure should not exceed 5 bar maintained/10 bar static.
If water hammer occurs (where the installation pipework sometimes knocks when operating outlets), we recommend you contact the Water Board to check your water pressure.
If the tap is connected to an Unvented Cylinder, has the system been serviced and the expansion vessel checked?
If unsure, we recommend that you contact your installer to investigate this.
