An upstand is an integrated lip on the outside of the shower tray that’s rebated into the wall to provide a water tight seal where wall tiles meet the tray. It measures 22mm high and 6mm deep.

Yes – all Mira Shower Trays are supplied with a waste, but the size and drainage capacity varies from model to model.

Yes – easy cleaning is one of the key aspects of Mira Flight Safe’s design, and it’s been extensively tested with many different chemicals and substances.

The Mira Flight Safe is very popular in the hospitality industry, as well as homes that use commercial cleaners – although only warm soapy water is needed.

To reseal your shower tray, remove the old sealant, clean the area, apply masking tape above and below the area to be sealed, apply the sealant, smooth it with a finger, remove tape before drying, and clean off any spilled sealant. Our shower trays are made from strong, acrylic-capped resin stone, rigorously tested to stand up to scratches, chips and discolouration. Acrylic-capped resin stone is composed of a blend of resin and stone particles topped with a durable acrylic layer, forming a solid, non-porous surface.
