Your showerhead should be descaled regularly, as a blocked showerhead can restrict the flow rate and may cause damage to the shower.
You can use your thumb or a soft cloth to wipe any limescale from the nozzles. Some showerheads have removable spray plates, which may make cleaning easier. Please refer to individual fitting guides for more information. To clean the whole showerhead, it can be removed and soaked in a descaling solution (suitable for plastics) - please follow the instructions on the packet.
Please note – many household cleaners contain abrasives and chemical substances that should not be used for chrome plated or plastic fittings. These finishes should be cleaned with a mild washing-up detergent or soap solution, and then wiped dry using a soft cloth.
