My mixer shower has weak or no water flow

Troubleshooting

Please see below our recommendations for resolving the flow issue from your mixer shower. If none of the suggestions resolve your problem, you can book a service repair online. If your shower is still within warranty please contact our Customer Service team by using the contact us form.

We recommend that you check the following:

  • Ensure there is a sufficient water supply to the shower. Refer to the Installation Guide for the required water pressure.
  • Check that the stop tap is fully open and hasn’t been turned down or off.
  • Verify if any recent work on the property or nearby road has affected the water supply.
  • Assess whether multiple water outlets are in use at the same time (e.g., washing machines, dishwashers, hoses, toilets).


Note:
Using other water outlets may reduce the water pressure to the shower. Would you like me to refine this further?


If this has not resolved the issue:

  • Try removing the showerhead from the shower hose (unscrews like a bottle top)
  • Drop the shower hose down into bath or shower tray and run the shower
  • If the shower runs correctly without the showerhead it indicates that the showerhead is blocked

If this has still not resolved the issue:

  • Unscrew the shower hose and run water through (over your water catchment area, i.e. shower cubicle or your bath. Read our helpful guide on, How to remove a shower hose if you need
  • If the shower runs correctly without the hose, it indicates that your shower hose has a blockage where it could be kinked, or the lining has collapsed.
