If you are experiencing any issues with your digital mixer, we would recommend following the reset or registration process. If none of the suggestions resolve your problem, you can book a service repair online. If your shower is still within warranty, please contact our Customer Service team by using the contact us form.
Re-setting: This simply means turning the power off to the digital mixer box for a few seconds, before turning it back on again.
Registration: This is for new installations or if you have purchased a new user interface (remote control). If you have recently had a new digital mixer shower installed then your installer will normally do this for you as part of the installation process.
Re-registering: This is the process to restore communication between the digital mixer and user interface if this has been interrupted for any reason.
To register or re-register a controller with your digital mixer, please follow the steps below:
Always ensure anything with a radio signal is switched off during the registration process - broadband routers, mobile phones, etc., as they will prevent the new controller from registering/re-registering.
First Time Registration
- Ensure power is OFF to the digital mixer (black box).
- Bring the user interface within 1 metre of the digital mixer.
- Insert the three AA batteries into the user interface.
- The clock will display 4:00 if not registered (depending on the age of your digital mixer, you may see 'r04' for a moment before it changes to 4:00)
- If it shows 10:00, it has already been registered, in which case, see the next section 'Re-Registration'
- Turn the power ON to the digital mixer.
- The valve will now initiate its start-up process, travelling from cold - hot - cold (for about 15 seconds). If it does not, check its power supply.
- It will ‘buzz’ during this time.
- During this time, a water droplet symbol appears on the bottom left of the user interface screen while the user interface and digital mixer are registering. The out of range symbol will be displayed as well.
