Is this a new installation?
It is not unusual for customers who have not had experience of power showers previously to consider these products as noisy. Power showers contain an integral pump capable of boosting the flow of water to up to 16 litres per minute and will make some associated noise.
Is this an existing installation?
Air may be trapped in the system. Please follow these steps to remove any trapped air:
- Remove the showerhead - Please read our helpful guide on How to remove a showerhead.
- Drop the shower hose down into the bath or shower tray and run on full cold for a minute or two
- Slowly increase the temperature to the hottest setting and run on full hot for up to five minutes
This should remove any air trapped in your pipework. You can now reattach the showerhead and try running again as normal.
