PVC wall panels are an increasingly popular choice for modern bathrooms. They are easy to keep clean, fully waterproof and can help keep mould at bay. Whether you’ve recently installed shower wall panels or are considering replacing tiles with PVC, discover our top cleaning tips to keep your bathroom sparkling.

What you’ll need

Cleaning your bathroom panels couldn’t be easier, as you only need a couple of products to achieve amazing results. These include:

  • Microfibre cloths
  • J cloths
  • Bathroom cleaning spray

How to clean PVC bathroom panels

  1. Apply a bathroom cleaning spray to the panels and allow it to soak for 2 to 5 minutes
  2. Use a J cloth to scrub the panels in small, circular motions. Pay extra attention to any areas with visible marks left by soap or shampoo, as these can stain if left untreated
  3. Once you’re satisfied with the results, use a microfibre cloth to polish and dry the panels, leaving them sparkling and streak-free

How often should I clean my bathroom wall panels?

We recommend cleaning your bathroom wall panels once a week as part of your general household cleaning routine. This will help prevent soap and shampoo marks from staining the PVC panels or shower enclosure while eliminating mould and bacteria. Wondering how to get your glass shower screen sparkling too? Can you use bleach on shower panels?

Bleach can damage the finish of PVC and acrylic panels, so we recommend using a bathroom cleaner that doesn’t contain bleach.
