Is this a new or recent installation?
The shower may have been fitted with reversed supplies. You will need to contact your installer to check this.
If the problem is not due to reversed supplies, hot water is not reaching the shower. Please ensure there is a hot supply to the shower. The installer should check the supply and filters.
Is this an existing installation?
Please ensure there is a hot supply to the shower.
If there is a hot supply:
You will need to reset the power to the shower. The main mixing valve box for the shower may be located in your loft space or airing cupboard and connected to a fused spur switch.
Isolate the switch for 10 seconds, then reinstate power to recalibrate the mixing valve.
If this has not resolved the issue:
Unscrew the showerhead from the hose/arm.
Run the shower without it attached, ensuring it is over a water catchment area.
Please read our helpful guide on how to remove a showerhead.
If the water is now hot:
The showerhead may be blocked. We recommend that you descale the showerhead with a plastic kettle descaling solution.
Poor shower performance can be avoided by regular cleaning of the showerhead.
Please read our helpful guide on how to clean your showerhead.
If this has not resolved the issue:
*If applicable* Unscrew the hose and run the shower without it attached (only if over a water catchment area).
Please read our helpful guide on how to remove a hose.
If this has resolved the issue:
Your shower hose may be kinked, or the lining may have collapsed. We would recommend replacing your shower hose. View our range of shower hoses here.
If the problem is not in the hose or showerhead:
This shower contains filters and non-return valves, which we would recommend being checked by a qualified tradesperson.
