My mixer shower is running too hot

Troubleshooting

Please see below our recommendations for resolving the temperature issue from your mixer shower. If none of the suggestions resolve your problem, you can book a service repair online or contact our Customer Service team by using the contact us form.


Is this a new or recent installation?

Adjust the temperature dial and ensure cold water is reaching the shower. Your hot water supply should not exceed 65°C.


If this has not resolved the issue:

Is this a new or recent installation?

The shower may have been fitted with reversed supplies. You will need to contact your installer to check this. More information on Reversed Supplies can be found in the Installation Guide supplied with your product. Is this an existing installation?

Adjust the temperature dial and ensure cold water is reaching the shower. Your hot water supply should not exceed 65°C.


If this does not resolve the issue:

  • Try removing the showerhead from the shower hose (unscrews like a bottle top)
  • Drop the shower hose down into bath or shower tray and run the shower
  • If the shower runs correctly without the showerhead it indicates that the showerhead is blocked

If this has still not resolved the issue:

  • Unscrew the shower hose and run without (only if over water catchment area) Read our helpful guide here on How to remove a hose
  • If the shower runs correctly without the hose it indicates that your shower hose maybe kinked, or the lining has collapsed. We would recommend replacing your shower hose. View our range of shower hoses here


If this has not resolved the issue:

If this has not resolved the issue:

This shower contains filters which we would recommend being checked by a qualified tradesperson.
