Welcome to our guide on how to get the best out of your connected Mira Activate, Mode or Platinum Digital Shower. Please use this page as a guide to understanding how to issue voice commands to control your product. This is not meant to be a comprehensive list of all commands but rather examples of tasks that can be completed. Start by waking up your smart device and then activating a command.
NOTE: It is the product owner/homeowner's duty to ensure that the voice activation of your Mira Activate, Mode or Platinum is used responsibly and safely by all members of their household. Mira Showers cannot be held responsible for any flooding or associated property damage if your product is operated in an unsafe way. Examples include issuing voice commands for operation when not at the installation property, shower outlet(s) directed out of the enclosure when voice commands are issued leading to flooding, using voice commands when another person is using the shower.
Naming your Digital Shower product for voice commands - reserved words
To give your smart speaker the best chance of success for voice command operation, avoid naming your product with any of the following words to avoid confusion:
alarm, alarms, all alarms, away, mode, bass, camera, date, day, do not disturb, drop in, music, night light, notification, playing, sleep sounds, time, timer, today, treble, volume, way, F.M. OK, Google, launch, ask, tell, load, exit, quit, volume up, game, action, assistant, skill, app
Voice Commands
The following list of voice commands are examples of how you can use your smart speaker (Amazon Alexa or Google Home) to control your Mira Activate, Mode or Platinum
As with all smart devices, you will need to make sure your product is connected to the internet and that you have linked your Amazon/Google account to your Activate, Mode or Platinum product through the Mira Showers app beforehand.
You can turn your Activate, Mode or Platinum product on or off or start specific custom pre-sets you’ve created e.g. ‘Morning shower’
As part of the voice command set up process, you will be asked to give your Mira Activate, Mode or Platinum product an ‘alias’ name. For these examples, we’ve used the name ‘Ensuite’.
Use your smart speaker’s wake up command (e.g. Alexa…., Hey Google….) followed by these phrases:
Alexa
“Turn on ‘Ensuite’”
“Turn off ‘Ensuite’”
“Begin ‘Ensuite’”
“Start ‘Ensuite’”
“Turn on/off water”, (“Which device?”), “‘Ensuite’”

“Start water”, (“Which device?”), “‘Ensuite’”
“Stop water”, (“Which device?”), “‘Ensuite’”

“Begin ‘Morning shower’”
“Turn off ‘Morning Shower’”
“What’s the ‘Ensuite’ temperature?”
“Check ‘Ensuite’ temperature”
“Increase ‘Ensuite’ temperature”
“Decrease ‘Ensuite’ temperature”
“Set ‘Ensuite’ to 38 degrees”
