It means that the mixing valve box is sensing too high a temperature and has safely shut down. Please ensure your hot water supply is 55-65°C. If your shower is connected to a combination boiler, ensure it is not cutting in and out.
If this has not resolved the issue:
Unscrew the showerhead from the hose/arm.
Run the water without it attached, ensuring it is over a water catchment area.
Please read our helpful guide on how to remove a showerhead.
If this does not help:
The showerhead may be blocked. We recommend that you descale the showerhead with a plastic kettle descaling solution.
Poor shower performance can be avoided by regular cleaning of the showerhead.
Please read our helpful guide on how to clean your showerhead.
If the issue persists :
*If applicable* Unscrew the hose and run the shower without it attached (only if over a water catchment area).
Please read our helpful guide on how to remove a hose.
If this resolves your issue, your shower hose may be kinked or the lining may have collapsed. We would recommend replacing your shower hose. View our range of shower hoses.
If a blockage in the showerhead or hose is not the problem:
This shower contains filters and non-return valves, which we would recommend being checked by a qualified tradesperson.
